Rosalynn Gill, Chief Science Officer
Rosalynn is one of the founders of Sciona and has lead Sciona's R&D efforts from the initial selection of genes through product development and technical sales support. She received her PhD in Biological Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin , where her work was carried out at MD Anderson and focused on the DNA-damaging effects of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in animal and bacterial models. She went to the UK in 1994 to the Department of Oncology at University College London before co-founding Sciona in 2000.

Keith Grimaldi, Director of Science
Keith graduated in biochemistry from the University of Liverpool and received his PhD from the University of Cambridge . His PhD project was on the cell biology of insulin secretion using the then recently developed monoclonal antibody technology. He worked for Serono as Research and Development manager at their main production plant, then at University College London (UCL) on neural and cardiac developmental gene expression, and then went to development novel PCR based methods for detecting DNA damage and repair. He also helped set up the EMEA subsidiary of a USA based NASDAQ quoted internet technology company (iPIX) and worked as technical director and then consultant. He joined Sciona as Chief Scientist in early 2002.
